Tico's started in 2003 as a local lawn care company. We added tree service and now take care of trees for homes and businesses across northern New Jersey. We want to be your single point of contact for all your tree service needs. Howard Nunez owns the company.

- Do you give free estimates?
- Yes. Tell us about your trees and we will set up a free estimate. Call (862) 432-5792 or use the form on this page. We look at the job in person, explain what we would do, and give you a price before any work starts, with no cost to you for the visit.
- Do you handle emergencies and storm damage?
- Yes. We offer 24 hour emergency service for fallen and damaged trees. Call (862) 432-5792. If a tree is on wires, stay away and call the power company first; once the area is safe, we cut the tree off your house, car or driveway and clean up the debris.
- What towns do you serve?
- We are based in Roxbury and work in towns across Morris, Essex, Passaic, Sussex, Warren, Somerset and Middlesex counties, plus Springfield. See the full list of towns above. If your town is not listed but you are in New Jersey, call and ask.
- Can you remove stumps too?
- Yes. We offer stump grinding and stump removal. Grinding takes the stump down below the ground so you can seed or plant over it, and it can be added to a tree removal so everything is done in one visit.
- Do you work on businesses as well as homes?
- Yes. We take care of trees for both residential and commercial customers. That includes clearing trees and brush from parking areas, property lines and building lots, as well as regular work around homes.
- Is your company registered in New Jersey?
- New Jersey requires tree care businesses to be registered with the state. We are Tico's Lawncare & Tree Service, NJTC Registration #939046.
